How do I know if I have a case for an issue when my child was born?

Details
My child was born in a nearby hospital and during the birth there were complications. As my child has continued to develop over these past few months, I continue to see signs and symptoms that seem abnormal. Is it too early to tell if there is something wrong and if so is the hospital responsible?

Birth injuries occur at a high rate across the nation. Some of these are preventable and fall on the responsibility of medical staff. It is important to understand though that not every complication is a result of an error made on the part of the staff. In many cases, however, it is and their error can leave a child or mother with a wide number of health issues. Birth injuries affect thousands on a yearly basis and for many they can find it necessary to pursue compensation for the damages they have faced as a result. If you are unsure if there is an actual problem, you will want to seek additional opinions from medical professionals. Having the backing of a doctor or other professional is a crucial part of building a solid case. You are also highly advised to speak to an attorney. Depending on the details of the complication, it could have been the hospital staffs fault that a problem occurred and if this is the case, you may have a valid personal injury claim against them.
