Hospital, Doctors Sued Over Patient’s Death

Mid-Valley Hospital in Washington, along with three doctors, is being sued for medical malpractice and wrongful death. The estate of Beatrice Wells is alleging that she was misdiagnosed on two separate days which caused her death. The initial diagnoses were acute gastroenteritis and dehydration, however, she died from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. The damages will be determined at the time of the trial.
