A group of former patients have filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Dr. Lawrence Rothstein. Apparently, Rothstein used catheters on patients that were not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use with a laser. The patients are also asking for a Georgia company to stop selling medical equipment to the doctor. There are reportedly 19 active cases against Rothstein.
